Mlyn Media is a media production company run by Michael Mlynarczyk, a digital creator based out of the durham region serving the Greater Toronto Area, Durham region, and more. Here is a bit about the man behind the camera.
“Ever since I was a little kid I’ve always been intrigued by cameras and photography. whether it was my family’s point and shoot camera that I was interested in from a young age using it on family trips from time to time. Or one of the school loaner cameras that I would borrow for photography class in my early high school years. The freedom and opportunity to create images in that class was definitely one of the things that furthered my passion and love for the art of photography. To more recently when I got my first professional camera I started to take it practically everywhere. That was really what made me fall in love with photography and realized it was more than just a hobby. I knew that I wanted to do it for the rest of my life and capture all the amazing moments throughout it.” —Michael Mlynarczyk
Photographic style
I believe that the best genuine moments are captured when you are forced not into uncomfortable positions. When it comes to photography i prefer a more candid approach for events. When it comes to other kinds of photography (portraits, couples, family, wedding, and more) I tend to stick to more of a minimal approach and only offer suggestions instead of posing everything. This style helps create more a genuine and real feeling in the images.
